🏞️ Event Details
- Venue: Race is held at Red Mill County Park 0815 South Holmesville Road, Laporte, IN 46350.
- Registration: Race day sign-ups, packet pick-ups, bathrooms are all located in the Smith Banquet building (the only building there).
- Shirts: All runners will receive a limited-edition long sleeve shirt: once the shirts are sold-out, you will receive a winter hat and gloves instead of a shirt.
- Cereal Theme: After completion of the race, please enjoy some breakfast cereals. Various cereal flavors will be available with 2% milk, almond milk, and non-dairy milk. Deathwish Coffee will be brewing as well.
📍 Course Information
- Course Marking: Course will be marked with flags and signs. PLEASE pay attention to the course marking, NOT the runner in front of you.
- Distance: You will be running FOUR LOOPS of course to get the 15k distance.
- Timing: We are doing old school timing for this race. Once you complete the race, you will receive a popsicle stick with a number on it.
- Submission: Please turn that stick into the building where you got your packet ASAP.
🏆 Awards and Merchandise
- Awards: Awards for overall female/male and age group awards will be presented after everyone is completed with the race.
- Merchandise: Items from my other races will be for sale for $5 including t-shirts, hats, and coffee cups.
🌍 Inclusivity Statement
The Crazy Legs Race Series welcomes and encourages participation in our events by all individuals regardless of their sexual orientation, biological sex, gender identity, or gender expression. Transgender runners may register as the gender they identify with, and there is no documentation needed. In the registration process, there is not a non-binary (NB) selection. 🏡 Land Acknowledgment
The Crazy Legs Race Series would like to begin by acknowledging that the land on which we host our races is the seized territory of the Miami, Shawnee, and Illinois Nations. Refugees from other nations also resided in the area we use, including the Lenape (Delaware). We honor those who have stewarded this land throughout the generations.
