Slicer Performing Arts Club (SPArC) 5K Run and Walk

Event Overview

Please join us for the second annual Slicer Performing Arts Club (SPArC) 5K run and walk. Runners, joggers, trotters, and walkers are welcome to come out to support the fine arts at La Porte High School.

Course Details

• Start Location: La Porte High School
• Course Route: Through surrounding neighborhoods to Kesling Park before returning to the High School
• Celebration: Victory celebration at the High School
• Weather Policy: Come join us, RAIN OR SHINE!

Awards

• Medals: Awarded to the best overall men/women
• Age Group Awards: Top finishers in each age group

Mini Slicer Sprint

For 4th Graders and under, there is the Mini Slicer Sprint! A mad dash to the finish line before the main event for all those future Slicers! All Mini Slicer Sprint participants will receive a medal when they cross the finish line.

Special Giveaway

• Beanie: The first 100 registered runners will get a limited edition black and orange SPARC beanie!

Parking Information

• Primary Parking: South Lot at La Porte High School, enter off of 10th Street
• Additional Parking: North lot at the high school, enter off I Street

About SPArC

SPArC is a non-profit organization that supports all the performing arts at La Porte High School. All proceeds will go directly to the students and their programs, including: The La Porte Marching Band, Show Choir, Jazz Band, Orchestra, Performing Arts Center, Color and Winter Guards, and all other musicians, thespians, singers, and performing Slicers!
