Race Location

• Venue: Creek Ridge County Park 7943 W 400 N, Michigan City, IN 46360

Event Details

• Start Time: Race starts at NOON central time.
• Packet Pickup: Start near the outdoor shelter where you get your packet.
• Course Description: The course is two loops with one hill each loop. The route has roots and small branches so PLEASE be cautious.
• Timing Method: We are doing old school timing: you will receive a popsicle stick once you finish. Please turn these sticks in ASAP.

Awards and Refreshments

• Awards: There will be no formal awards ceremony. If you win overall or top three in the age group, you will receive your medal after you turn your stick in.
• Refreshments: Snacks, water, and Powerade will be available at the outdoor shelter after you finish.
• Merchandise: Old race shirts and hats will be available for sale at $5.
• Volunteers Needed: We are in need of volunteers. If you know someone who would like to help, have them email us at stofko121@yahoo.com.

About Crazy Legs Race Series

• Mission: The purpose of Crazy Legs Race Series (CLRS) is to promote non-pavement/pavement races in the Northwest Indiana region.
• Events: At all our events, you will experience fun and challenging course design in a low-key atmosphere.
• Locations: Races will be held in parks or areas in Lake, Porter, and LaPorte counties.
• Inclusivity: The Crazy Legs Race Series welcomes and encourages participation in our events by all individuals regardless of their sexual orientation, biological sex, gender identity, or gender expression.

Land Acknowledgment

• Territory: We acknowledge that the land on which we host our races is the seized territory of the Miami, Shawnee, and Illinois Nations.
• Refugees: Refugees from other nations, including the Lenape (Delaware), also resided in the area we use.
• Honor: We honor those who have stewarded this land throughout the generations.
