Cereal Killer 15k Trail Run

Race Location

• Venue: Red Mill County Park 0815 South Holmesville Road, Laporte, IN 46350.
• Race Day: Sign-ups, packet pick-ups, bathrooms are all located in the Smith Banquet building.
• Entrance: You will enter at the NORTH ENTRANCE.

Runner Amenities

• Shirts: All runners will receive a limited-edition short sleeve shirt: once sold out, a winter hat and gloves will be provided instead.
• Design Announcement: Shirt design will be posted later.

Event Theme

• Cereal Offering: Enjoy breakfast cereals after the race with various flavors available.
• Milk Options: 2% milk, almond milk, and non-dairy milk will be available.
• Coffee: Deathwish Coffee will be brewing as well.

Course Information

• Course Marking: The course will be marked with flags and signs.
• Race Format: Please pay attention to the course marking: NOT the runner in front of you.
• Distance: You will be running FOUR LOOPS of course to reach the 15k distance.

Timing and Awards

• Timing Method: Old school timing for this race.
• Popsicle Stick: After finishing, receive a popsicle stick with a number to turn in.
• Awards: No formal awards ceremony: medals are given upon turning in the stick for top finishers.

• Items for Sale: Previous race items will be available for $5 including t-shirts, hats, and coffee cups.

Organizational Goals

• Mission: The Crazy Legs Race Series (CLRS) promotes non-pavement/pavement races in Northwest Indiana.
• Race Experience: Enjoy fun and challenging course design in a low-key atmosphere.
• Location: Races are held in parks in Lake, Porter, and La Porte counties.

• Open Participation: The Crazy Legs Race Series encourages all individuals to participate regardless of sexual orientation, biological sex, gender identity, or expression.
• Registration Process: Transgender runners may register as the gender they identify with: no documentation needed.
• Non-binary Options: There is no non-binary (NB) selection: email [email protected] to amend records post-registration.

• Indigenous Territory: We acknowledge the land of the Miami, Shawnee, and Illinois Nations.
