CKF's 5K for Life

Event Overview

Join us on September 19th at Coffee Creek Preserve in Chesterton, IN, for the second annual CKF's 5k for Life. New this year, we will also have a virtual component in case you are not local to the Chesterton area! We will bring the community together to share the message of organ, eye, and tissue donation and show the world what a transplant makes possible.

• Current Need: Over 103,000 individuals are awaiting life-saving transplants in the United States.
• Awareness: Only 48% of Americans sign up to help those in need.
• Agreement: 96% of Americans agree with organ donation.
• CKF's Mission: Educate and inspire individuals to register as organ, eye, and tissue donors.

Participation Details

• Open to All: This event welcomes everyone, regardless of connection to donation and transplant.
• Activity Options: Participants can choose to walk or run the race.
• Inclusivity: The event is suitable for all ages and abilities.
• Extras: Local vendors, t-shirts for racers, music, and more await participants!

Registration Information

• Cost: Registration is $20 for adults and $15 for kids (Under 12).
• Schedule: Registration opens at 9 am: the race begins at 10:30 am.
• Team Options: You can register as an individual or as a team.
• Support CKF: If you cannot attend in person, you can easily donate to a racer or make a general donation to CKF through the donate button.
