CKF's 5K for Life

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us on September 10th at Coffee Creek Preserve in Chesterton, IN, for the second annual CKF's 5K for Life. New this year, we will also have a virtual component in case you are not local to the Chesterton area! We will bring the community together to share the message of organ, eye, and tissue donation and show the world what a transplant makes possible.

📈 Important Statistics

• Current Need: Over 103,000 individuals are awaiting life-saving transplants in the United States.
• Public Support: 96% of Americans agree with organ donation, but only 48% have signed up to help.
• CKF's Mission: To educate and inspire individuals to register as organ, eye, and tissue donors.
• Who Can Participate: Everyone is welcome, regardless of their connection to donation and transplant.

🎉 Event Details

• Registration Fee: $20 for adults and $15 for kids (Under 12).
• Registration Opens: 9 am.
• Race Starts: 10:30 am.
• Activities: Local vendors, t-shirts for all racers, music, and more!

🤝 How to Participate

You can register as an individual or as a team. If you cannot attend in person but would like to support CKF, easily donate to a racer or donate generally to CKF through the donate button!
