CKF's 5K for Life

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us on September 20th at Coffee Creek Preserve in Chesterton, IN, for the second annual CKF's 5k for Life. New this year, we will also have a virtual component in case you are not local to the Chesterton area! We will bring the community together to share the message of organ, eye, and tissue donation and show the world what a transplant makes possible.

🎗️ Importance of Organ Donation

• Current Need: Currently, in the United States over 103,000 individuals are awaiting life-saving transplants.
• Public Opinion: Only 48% of Americans sign up to help while 96% say they agree with organ donation.
• CKF's Mission: CKF aims to educate and inspire individuals to make a difference and register as organ, eye, and tissue donors.
• Inclusivity: This event is for all ages and abilities, welcoming everyone to participate.

👟 Race Details

• Event Type: You can walk or run the race, whichever you are comfortable with.
• Registration Fee: $20 for adults and $15 for kids (Under 12).
• Perks: All racers will receive a t-shirt, music, and more!
• Schedule: Registration will open at 9 am, and the race will begin at 10:30 am!
