Event Overview

Come join Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity's Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk on Thanksgiving morning. This family-friendly 5K event is located on the scenic campus of FSW College, Punta Gorda Campus. This event has been a beloved tradition for friends, family and fitness enthusiasts for over 27 years - and the only race where you can chase a Bicycle Riding Turkey! Join us as we wobble before we gobble!

Purpose of the Event

Proceeds and donations for this event go to help bring affordable housing solutions and the dream of homeownership to families in Charlotte County. We couldn't do it without you!

Important Information

• Youth Registration: Ages 3 & Under - Free (If race shirt & medal are wanted, please sign up under Fun Walk and pay the youth fee of $25)
• Ages 4-14: Only $25 (Price will be adjusted at checkout)
• Finisher Medal: All participants will receive a finisher medal and race shirt (if registered by the deadline)
• Race Shirt Deadline: Sunday, October 19th, 2025

Age Group Awards

Age Group Awards are awarded to the top three male and female participants in each age group below:

• 9yr & Under: Male / Female
• 10 - 14 years: Male / Female
• 15 - 19 years: Male / Female
• 20 - 24 years: Male / Female

Overall Awards

Overall Awards will be awarded to top male and female in the following divisions:

• Overall: Top Male / Female
• Masters: 40+
• Grand Masters: 50+
• Senior Grand Masters: 60+

Important Dates to Remember

• April 1st - October 19th: Registration Price $35
• October 19th, Midnight: Race Shirt Deadline / No Race Shirt Offered After This Date
• October 20th - November 26th, 1PM: Registration price $40
• November 26th at NOON: Online Registration Closes

Race Day Information

• November 27th: Day of Registration Price $45
• November 25th & 26th: Early Packet Pick-up from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Packet Pick-up: Day of Registration from 6:15 AM - 7:15 AM - FSW College Charlotte Campus, Building O Cafeteria
• Location: 26300 Airport Rd, Punta Gorda, FL

Please note that FSW College has a no pet, no smoking policy. We appreciate your cooperation in following their guidelines.

Registration Policy

RACE REGISTRATION IS NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-DEFERRABLE

Additional Information

Per USATF rules, gun time is used to determine prize money winners and time bonus recipients. Tag time (chip time) will be used to determine all age-group.
