Run for The Hills

Race Overview

Join in the 4th Annual Run for the Hills 5K event at the Oswegatchie Hills Nature Preserve in Niantic, CT. Come for an amazing trail run by Clark Pond and through beautiful scenery around the perimeter of the preserve. Proceeds from the race will go directly to maintaining this special place of quiet beauty for future generations to enjoy!

Participation Options

• Hikers Welcome: Not a runner? Hikers are also welcome to participate and enjoy the trails as well.

Awards Ceremony

The awards ceremony will take place after the race at the Niantic Public House - enjoy a wonderful local brewery, whilst you share stories and congratulate your fellow finishers!

Entry Fee

• Early registration: $25 until August 16th, then $30 (online).
• Day-of registration: Cash only, $35.

Race Schedule

• Parking: Ample parking adjacent to the preserve, with overflow at East Lyme Town Hall, 108 Pennsylvania Ave., Niantic.
• Check-in: Race Day Check-in opens at 10:00 AM.
• Race Start: Race starts at 11:00 AM.
• Awards Ceremony: At the Niantic Public House at 12:30 PM.

• Overall Awards: First Place Male and Female!
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 Men and Women in each age group:
  • 19 and under
  • 20-29
  • 30-39
  • 40-49
  • 50-59
  • 60-69
  • 70+
• Timing: The race will be professionally timed by SNERRO, LLC.

Online Only: All registrants 21 and older will receive a coupon to redeem at our sponsor, the Niantic Public House.
