Run With The Deer Flies 25K, 15K & 8K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The 2025 Run With The Deer Flies 25K, 15K, and 8K will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2025. And as you can see an 8K distance has been added in 2025, This should be a popular addition for new trail runners as well as those who would like a shorter distance.

📍 Location

We are looking forward to returning to Camp Seph Mack near Penn Run, PA and hope to see you there. The Deer Fly is directed by trail runners for trail runners.

🏞️ Course Description

The Deer Fly is a fun and challenging trail race with a mix of single-track trails, pipeline roads, swamps, hills, and creek crossings.

• Distance: 25K, 15K, and 8K options available.
• Terrain: A combination of diverse trail features.
• Water Stations: Aid stations approximately every four miles.
• Recommendations: Carrying water is strongly recommended.

🍔 Post-Race Festivities

Post-race burgers and hot dogs grilled up by ultra runner Ryan Knecht.

💖 Beneficiaries

The Deer Fly benefits Indiana County Parks & Trails and Citizens' Ambulance Service.

🏅 Finishers' Rewards

📋 Registration Details

• Runner Limit: Races are each capped at 100 runners.
• Registration: Please register early to avoid disappointment.
• Race Shirts: Provided courtesy of Allied Milk, guaranteed for those who register by July 14, 2025.
• Availability: Shirts available after that date and on race day only as supplies last.

No rain date. No refunds or deferrals if the race is conducted.
