Hobo Trail Runs 10k-25k-50k

Race Overview

Join us for the 19th Annual Hobo Rendezvous on September 11, 2026, at Rock Cut State Park in Rockford, IL. Choose to participate in a single event or take on the challenging Triple Crown with three races amounting to 85k or the Triple Crown "Lite" with 60k.

Race Details

• Friday Night 10k: Evening trail race starting at 7:00 PM, all runners must finish by 9:30 PM.
• 25k Race: Starts Saturday at 8:00 AM: course supported for 5 hours.
• 50k & 25k Races: Starts Sunday at 8:00 AM: both supported for 8 hours.
• Triple Crown Awards: Special awards and swag for completing all three races.

Registration & Packet Pickups

• Sept. 11 - 10k: 5:30-6:30 PM at Rock Cut State Park near the boat launch.
• Sept. 12 - 25k: 7:00-7:45 AM at Red Oak picnic area.
• Sept. 13 - 50k & 25k: 7:00-7:45 AM at Red Oak picnic area.
• Note: Day of registration for the evening race ends at 6:30 PM.

Course Support

25k Course: Supported for 5 hours on Saturday. 50k/25k on Sunday: Supported for 8 hours.

Note: No swag option available where participants will not receive race items but are eligible for awards.

Awards

Awards will be given for the 10k, 25k, and 50k races including Hobo Railroad Spikes for overall male/female and top 3 in each age group. All finishers for the Triple Crown will receive a special award.
