Hobo Trail Runs 10k-25k-50k

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Location: Rock Cut State Park

Choose to do a single event or pick the challenging Triple Crown all three races 85k or the Triple Crown "Lite" 60k with the 10k on Friday evening then a 25k on Saturday & Sunday. Friday Night's 10k is an evening trail race. Bring running lights, headlamps, flashlights, etc. The trail will be marked with signage, glow sticks, and reflective markers. This is a trail race in the dark, the park closes at 10:00 pm, and all runners must be finished by 9:30 in order to leave the park before closing. Please ensure you practice running on trails in the dark.

🕖 Race Schedule

• 10k: Starts near the boat launch in Rock Cut State Park on Friday, Sept. 12 - 7:00 pm. Runners must finish by 9:30 pm.
• 25k: Starts and finishes at Red Oak picnic area on Saturday, Sept. 13 - 8:00 am. Course is supported for 5 hours.
• 50k & 25k: Starts and finishes at Red Oak picnic area on Sunday, Sept. 14 - 8:00 am. Course is supported for 8 hours.

🏆 Awards

• Triple Crown Award: For those who run all three races (85k), each will receive a Hobo Railroad Spike Award. Triple Crown finishers will also receive special additional swag.
• Triple Crown "Lite" Award: For those who run all three races (60k), will receive a Hobo Railroad Spike Award. Triple Crown "Lite" finishers will receive special additional swag.
• General Awards: 10k/25k/50k: Hobo Railroad Spikes to Overall Male/Female and Top 3 in each age group.

📅 Registration Information

• Day of Race Registration:
  • Sept. 12 - 10k - 5:30-6:30 pm - Rock Cut State Park - near the boat launch/Lone Rock Cafe
  • Sept. 13 - 25k - 7:00-7:45 am - Red Oak Picnic area Rock Cut State Park
  • Sept. 14 - 50k & 25k - 7:00-7:45 am - Red Oak Picnic area Rock Cut State Park
• Note: Registration for the evening race ends at 6:30 pm.
• Swag Options: No swag option means you will NOT receive a short or long sleeve shirt, hoodie, or other offered swag items for any race(s). You will still be eligible for race awards.
