Hobo Trail Runs 10k-25k-50k

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Location: Rock Cut State Park

Choose to do a single event or pick the challenging Triple Crown - all three races totaling 85k, or the Triple Crown "Lite" 60k. Friday Night's 10k is an evening trail race. Bring running lights, headlamps, flashlights, etc. The trail will be marked with signage, glow sticks, and reflective markers. All runners must be finished by 9:30 PM in order to leave the park before closing at 10:00 PM.

📅 Race Schedule

• 10k: Starts at the boat launch in Rock Cut State Park on Friday, Sept. 12, at 7:00 PM - Runners must finish by 9:30 PM.
• 25k: Starts and finishes at Red Oak picnic area on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 8:00 AM - Course supported for 5 hours.
• 50k & 25k: Starts and finishes at Red Oak picnic area on Sunday, Sept. 14, at 8:00 AM - Course supported for 8 hours.
• Triple Crown: Finishers receive the Hobo Railroad Spike Award and special additional swag for completing all three races.

Packet Pick-Up Times:

• Sept. 12 - 10k: 5:30-6:30 PM at Rock Cut State Park near the boat launch/Lone Rock Cafe.
• Sept. 13 - 25k: 7:00-7:45 AM at Red Oak Picnic area, Rock Cut State Park.
• Sept. 14 - 50k & 25k: 7:00-7:45 AM at Red Oak Picnic area, Rock Cut State Park.
• Note: Day of registration for the evening race ends at 6:30 PM.

⏳ Course Support

25k course: Supported for 5 hours on Saturday (approximately 19+/minute per mile pace).

50k/25k course: Supported for 8 hours on Sunday (50k = 15+/minute per mile, 25k = 30+/minute per mile pace).

🏆 Awards and Swag

Awards: Hobo Railroad Spikes to Overall Male/Female and Top 3 in each age group (0-14, 15-19, etc.). All finishers of the Triple Crown will receive a special 3 spike award.

No Swag Option: This means you will NOT receive a shirt, hoodie, or other swag items, but you will still be eligible for race awards.
