Hobo Trail Runs 10k-25k-50k

Event Overview

Location: Rock Cut State Park

Choose to do a single event or pick the challenging Triple Crown all three races 85k or the Triple Crown "Lite" 60k with the 10k on Friday evening then a 25k Sat. & Sun.

• Evening Race: Friday Nite's 10k is an evening trail race.
• Required Gear: Bring running lights, headlamps, flashlights, etc.
• Trail Markings: Trail will be marked with signage, glow sticks, and reflective markers.
• Park Closing: The park closes at 10:00 pm: all runners must be finished by 9:30 pm.

10k

• Date: Friday Sept. 11
• Start Time: 7:00 pm
• Location: Near the boat launch in Rock Cut State Park
• Finish Requirement: Must be finished by 9:30 pm to leave the park by closing time.

25k

• Start Location: Red Oak picnic area
• Date: Saturday Sept. 12
• Start Time: 8:00 am
• Course Support: Supported for 5 hours on Saturday.

50k

• Start Location: Red Oak picnic area
• Date: Sunday Sept. 13
• Start Time: 8:00 am
• Course Support: Supported for 8 hours.

Awards

• Triple Crown Award: For those who run all three races (85k), each will receive a Hobo Railroad Spike Award.
• Triple Crown "Lite" Award: For those who run all three races (60k), will receive a Hobo Railroad Spike Award.
• Age Group Awards: Hobo Railroad Spikes to Overall Male/Female and Top 3 in each age group.
• Triple Crown Finishers: All finishers will receive a special 3 spike award.

Day of Race & Packet Pickups:

• Sept. 11 - 10k: 5:30-6:30 pm - Rock Cut State Park, near the boat launch/Lone Rock Cafe
• Note: Day of registration for evening race ends at 6:30 pm.
• Sept. 12 - 25k: 7:00-7:45 am - Red Oak picnic area Rock Cut State Park
• Sept. 13 - 50k & 25k: 7:00-7:45 am - Red Oak picnic area Rock Cut State Park

Additional Information

Support Times: 25k course will be supported for 5 hours on Saturday, 50k/25k on course on Sunday will be supported for 8 hours.

Registration Options: Note that the no swag option means you will NOT receive race merchandise but will still be eligible for race awards.
