🏃♂️ The Trojan Trot Overview
This will be a 1 Mile race around the track at CHASE High School hosted by the CHASE High School Cross Country team. The race will be run under the stadium lights Saturday evening August 2nd. This event will be a great opportunity for runners to test their speed over the shorter 1 mile distance.
📋 Race Format
- Heats: Due to the limited number of runners that can easily run around the track at one time, this race will be split into several heats based on estimated finish time.
- Placement: Runners will be placed in heats with other runners with estimated finish times.
- Goal: The goal of this is to reduce the chance for runners getting lapped and allow for a more enjoyable experience for runners of all ability levels.
- Details: Total heat number and start times will be determined closer to the date of the race based on number of runners entered.
👶 Kids Fun 400m
This event will also feature a 'Kids Fun 400m'. Kids 8 and under will be given the opportunity to race 1 lap around the track.
💲 Entry Fee
In lieu of offering shirts as a giveaway, we will offer a reduced entry fee of $15.
