2025 Run To The River 5K

Event Overview

Deep River Parks & Recreation Department is proud to host The Run To The River 5K Road Race as part of the Deep River Family Day celebrations.

Race Details

• Date: 2025-09-20
• Location: Devitt Field, Deep River, CT
• Route: USATF certified, starts at Devitt Field, proceeds onto Main Street, Kirtland St., River St., Elm St., and Union St. Back to Devitt Field.
• Finish Line: Located at the bottom of the hill, left through the gate at ‘B’ field near the goal post.

Entry Fees

• 5K: $20 Early Bird Registration, $25 after Sept 2nd, $30 on race day
• 5K Group Discount: $15 per person for groups of 6 or more registering together by Sept 2nd: $20 after 9/2
• Registrants: The first 100 registrants will receive a race t-shirt as part of their registration fee.

Race Day Schedule

• Registration Opens: 7:30 am
• 5K Run/Walk Start: 9:00 am

• Overall Awards: Top male/female overall and first male/female in the following age groups:
• 10 yrs & under
• 11 - 14 yrs
• 15 - 18 yrs
• 19 - 29 yrs
• 30 - 39 yrs
• 40 - 49 yrs
• 50 - 59 yrs
• 60 - 69 yrs
• 70+
