Join us for a festive star-spangled spin around Fort Worth as we honor America’s 250th birthday in true Rahr Running Club style! This July social run/walk is our red-white-and-brew salute to 250 years of independence — because nobody really knows how to pronounce semiquincentennial, but we definitely know how to celebrate it. We’ll log some miles, share some laughs, and toast to freedom with cold brews and breakfast alongside our trusty pace leaders.
🥨 Event Details
As always, this monthly Rahr Brewing Company Running Club social run/walk is your laid-back training ground for the legendary Oktoberfest 5K — the perfect mix of fitness, fun, and post-run cheers. Run it fast, stroll it proud, and raise a glass to 250 years! USA!
🍻 Social Run Includes
- Distance: 3ish mile run/walk (untimed), led by our world-famous BEER PACERS
- Drinks: Two (2) Rahr Brewing Company draft beers (must be 21+)
- Souvenir: Pint glass
- Food: Breakfast tacos courtesy of That Taco Dude!
🕗 Social Run Schedule
Check in opens at 8:00 AM and the group start is at 8:30 AM. If you miss the group start at 8:30 AM, you can still check in and run/walk: check in closes at 9:00 AM.
- 8:00 AM: Check in opens for the social run/walk
- 8:30 AM: “Group” Start (run with the group and awesome beer pacers!)
- 9:30 AM: That Taco Dude starts slinging those hot and fresh breakfast tacos
- 10:30 AM: Games and/or a raffle with a chance to score some fun stuff, must be present to play and/or win
- 11:00 AM: Last call
- 11:30 AM: Social run/walk ends
📋 Social Run/Walk Notes & Tips
- All levels: All levels and paces are welcome. This event is untimed & always an awesome time!
- Weather: We are always rain or shine!
- Dogs: Dogs are allowed on the patio at the Flying Saucer. Dogs must have tags, be on a leash and are only allowed outside in communal areas.
- Registration: No refunds or transfers, once you are registered, you are registered!
- ID: Bring your ID!
- Kids: Kids in strollers are always welcome and are always free.
