CrossKnox 15K & 4-Miler

📅 Date, Time, & Place

• Date: Saturday December 13th at 8:00am.
• 15K Start: Begins at 8:00 am at Morningside Park.
• 4-Miler Start: Starts at 8:30 am in Tyson Park.
• Finish: Both races finish at Bearden Elementary.

🏞️ Course Description and Highlights

• Scenic Route: This event highlights the City of Knoxville and its fantastic greenway system.
• Greenways: The entirety of the route is on greenways: Morningside Park → Neyland Greenway → Third Creek Greenway → Tyson Park → Third Creek Greenway → Bearden Greenway.

💵 Registration & Entry Fees

• Early Registration: May 25 - June 30 for $35 for 15K, $25 for 4-mile.
• Standard Registration: June 1 - Oct 30 for $40 for 15K, $30 for 4-mile.
• Late Registration: Nov 1 - Dec 12 for $45 for 15K, $35 for 4-mile.
• Race Day Fee: $50 for 15K, $40 for 4-mile: no t-shirt option - deduct $5 anytime.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Early Packet Pickup: tbd.
• Race-Day Packet Pickup: Begins at 6am from Bearden Elementary.
• T-shirts: Unisex sizing: available while supplies last: no re-orders.

🏆 Awards

• Categories: Awards for overall male/female/open, top Masters, Grandmasters, and Senior Grandmasters.
• Age Groups: Awards to the top 3 in each age group and top 3 Clydesdale/Athena.
• Eligibility: Overall winners are not eligible for age division awards.
• No Cash Prize: There is no cash prize for this event.

🧃 Refreshments

• Provided: Refreshments available for participants at Bearden Elementary School.
• Water Stops: Available at Tyson Park and the Corner of Sutherland/greenway at UT Rec Field.

📊 Results

• Viewing: Complete results will be available on the KTC Website at www.ktc.org.

⚠️ Race Etiquette

• Prohibited Items: Due to insurance regulations, roller blades, bicycles, and dogs are not allowed on the course.
• Time Limit: The 15K course closes in 2 hours and 30 minutes.
