Honor the Brave 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

It's time for our Honor the Brave 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!

🕖 Check-in and Start Times

• Check-in: 7-7:30 AM for everyone
• Start: 7:30 AM
• Half Marathon Cut Off: 10:45 AM, option to start early to finish by 10:45 AM, please email for early start at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com
• Address: 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.)

🗺️ Location Details

Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave. Do not use Apple Maps: use Google Maps or Waze. There is a photo of the map on the website: www.abetterworldrunning.com

🚽 Event Logistics

• Parking: Please plan on carpooling and getting there early to find parking and use the restroom.
• Restroom Supplies: Bring toilet paper just in case as beach restrooms are not always fully stocked early in the morning.
• Photos: Free pictures for everyone posted on our Facebook page after the event.
• Facilities: Numerous restrooms and water fountains will be available along the course.

🏅 Race Details

• 5k: Out and back route: View Route
• 10k: 2 x 5k loops
• 15k: 3 x 5k loops
• Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop: View Route

🚼 Additional Information

• Strollers: Running/walking with a stroller is allowed.
• Time Limit: 3:15 for the half marathon: please email for an early start if more time is needed.
• Finisher Medals: All finishers will receive a medal.
• Results: All results will be posted on our website usually the evening of the event at www.abetterworldrunning.com
