🏃♂️ Event Overview
It's time for our Turkey Trot 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!! This is on FRIDAY 11/28. NOT on Thanksgiving. This is Friday 11/28, the day after Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving 11/27 we are in Woodley Park in Van Nuys.

- Date: November 28, 2025
- Location: 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803
- Check-in: 7:00 AM - 7:30 AM for everyone
- Start Time: 7:30 AM
⏱️ Race Details
- Half Marathon Cut-off: 10:45 AM, option to start early to finish by 10:45 AM, please email for early start at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com
- Registration: Check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave.
- GPS Directions: Use Google Maps or Waze app, do not use Apple Maps as a GPS.

🚻 Facilities and Parking
- Planning: Please plan on carpooling and getting there early to find parking and use the restroom.
- Restrooms: Beach restrooms are not always fully stocked that early in the morning: bring toilet paper just in case.
- Course Support: Numerous restrooms and water fountains along the course.
- Finishers: ALL finishers get a medal. Results will be posted after the event on our website.

- Strollers: Running/walking with a stroller is allowed.
- Half Marathon Time Limit: 3:15 time limit: email abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for early start if needed.
- Results: All results will be posted after the event, usually the evening of the event on www.abetterworldrunning.com
