Kids on the Move 5K Atlanta – A Race for Fun, Fresh Air, and Fitness!

Atlanta, it’s time to get moving! Join us on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 8 AM to 12 PM for the Kids on the Move 5K—an exciting race designed to get kids stretching their legs, breathing in the fresh air, and embracing the joy of physical activity.

🎉 Post-Race Celebration

Whether they sprint, jog, or walk their way to the finish line, every young participant will build confidence, promote general health, and experience the thrill of crossing that final marker. But the fun doesn’t stop there!

• Block Party: After the race, stick around for an epic Block Party!
• Vendors: Participants and families can visit our amazing vendors.
• Food: Indulge in delicious bites from food trucks.
• Community: Fellowship with the community in a lively, fun-filled atmosphere.

It’s more than just a race—it’s a celebration of movement, wellness, and togetherness.

🗓️ Race Details

The chip timed 5K run and 1 mile walk courses will begin at South Bend Park and circle through the park’s trail back to the Boys and Girls club where the block party will begin. The Kids on the Move 5K is a fundraiser to help fund future projects, like our economic empowerment for kids expo and our youth outreach with the Whitehead Boys and Girls Club, under the We Got Next Foundation. STROLLERS ARE WELCOMED.

🕖 Schedule

• Check-in/Registration: Will begin at 7:00 AM.
• Tot Run: The 50-yard tot run will begin at 8:30 AM.
• 5K Race: Will start at 8:00 AM.
• 1 Mile Walk: Will begin directly after (NLT 8:30 AM).

Please register by August 11th to receive a t-shirt (limited numbers and sizes of t-shirts will be available after this date).
