About this race
Race Overview
The Be Aware 5k for Youth Suicide Awareness and Prevention is intended to shine a light on the skyrocketing issues surrounding youth mental health (depression, anxiety, and the potential for suicide). Participants can register for timed or untimed category.

- Date: October 11, 2026
- Location: 21055 21 Mile Rd, Macomb, MI
- Check-In: 9:00 am
- Opening Ceremony: 9:30 am
Registration Details
- Fee: $35 registration fee includes event t-shirt.
- Student Rate: $25 registration fee for students.
- Registration Deadline: Must register by September 24th to guarantee shirt.

- Run/Walk Begins: 10:00 am
- Location for Registration and Ceremony: Dakota High School 9th Grade Center.
- Access: Enter off 21 mile at the light or Cougar Drive off of Heydenreich.
- Pets: Four legged friends are welcome!
