Rotary Club of Kissimmee West presents the RISE & RUN 5K @ NEOCITY

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Rotary Club of Kissimmee West “Rise & Run 5K @ NeoCity” will take place in NeoCity in Kissimmee in October. This is the first annual and first 5K (3.1 miles) in NeoCity.

🌟 Community Impact

• Purpose: An opportunity for individuals or teams to make an impact on our community.
• Beneficiaries: Proceeds help the Rotary Club raise money for domestic violence survivors and eradicate and educate on ending Polio globally.
• Activities: We will provide refreshments, a silent auction, booths with a variety of businesses, including the NeoCity Academy volunteers and more.
• Recognition: Everyone who participates will receive a finishers medal and we will recognize the Top 10 Male and Female finishers.

🏅 Awards & Recognition

• Team Awards: If you have a Team, we will award titles such as Largest Team, Most Creative/Spirited team, and Service Above Self team.
• Discount: Teams with five or more participants will receive a registration discount.
• Course: Experience a flat and fast course that includes a secure straight up and back route.
• Cause: All for a worthy cause to benefit Help Now and End Polio programs.

📅 Event Timeline

• 6:45 AM: Race-day Registration and Packet Pickup opens.
• 8:00 AM: 5K Fun Run/Walk begins.
• 9:00 AM: Awards presentation.
• 9:15 AM: FREE Kids’ Dashes begin.

🎽 Race Amenities

• T-Shirt: All participants receive a 5K Run & Walk t-shirt.
• Finisher Medal: For all 5K Fun Run participants.
• Snacks: Water and post-race snacks will be provided.
• Awards: Awards for the Top 10 Overall male & female finishers, along with team awards.

💲 Registration Fees

• Early Registration: $35.00 through 10/11/25.
• Late Registration: $40.00 from 10/12/25 - 10/17/25 until 6 PM.
• Race Day: $45.00 on the day of the race (if not sold out).
• Team Rate: $5.00 off if registering 5 or more at one time!

☔ Weather Policy

Races will be held rain or shine: however, if there is severe weather in the area, the race start may be delayed or cancelled. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

👶 Kids' Dashes

We will host free kids’ dashes following the 5K event. Children ages 7 & under must be registered on race day at the Registration table. All children must be accompanied by an adult and will receive a Finisher Ribbon. Distances vary by age group, ranging from 50 yards to 200 yards. Registration will be available online on race day starting at 5 AM!

🛑 Safety Rules

To ensure the safety of all runners, roller skates and in-line skates are prohibited from the race course. Participants must remain alert throughout the race, stay inside cones, and obey all race signage. Jogging strollers are permitted but must start at the back.

🥳 Strollers

Strollers are allowed. Registrants participating with a stroller should line up after the runners & walkers at the start line. Only paid registrants of the 5K Fun Run/Walk will receive a finisher medal.

📦 Packet Pickup Information

Early Packet Pick-Up - TBD. Race Day Packet Pickup will start at NeoCity at 6:45 AM. Additional time may be needed for packet collection due to parking and lines. Friends and family members can pick up your race packet!
