Race for Education 5K Run/Walk

Join us Saturday November 8, 2025 for the Race for Education 5K Run/Walk at Tradewinds Park.

The Race For Education 5K Run/Walk, benefitting the CSCCRC Chamber Education Foundation, is a community-driven event dedicated to supporting students and teachers in our local elementary, middle, and high schools. Proceeds from the race help provide essential classroom materials, resources, and educational enhancements throughout the school year. Together, we’re investing in academic success, empowering educators, and helping create brighter futures for our youth.

• Race Bib: All participants will receive a personalized race bib with RFID timing chip.
• T-Shirt: Participants will receive an event dri-fit shirt.
• Goodie Bag: Each participant gets a goodie bag.
• Finisher Medal: Beautiful finisher medals will be awarded to all finishers.

🏆 Awards

Awards will be provided to the top 3 overall (male and female) as well as top 3 in each age group. The age groups are as follows:

• Age Groups: 1-8: 9-14: 15-19: 20-24: 25-29: 30-34: 35-39: 40-44: 45-49: 50-54: 55-59: 60-64: 65-69: 70-74: 75-79: 80+

Sign up early and save. See the event fee schedule:

• June 1 - September 30, 2025: $35.00
• October 1 - October 31, 2025: $37.50
• November 1 - November 7, 2025: $39.50
• November 8, 2025: $50.00

• 6:30am: Pre-Race 5K Warm Up

• 6:55am: National Anthem and Announcements
• 7:00am: Start of the Race for Education 5K Run/Walk
• 8:00am: Dancing with DJ Petey
• 8:15am: Awards Ceremony
