Kilometer Kids

🏃‍♂️ Kilometer Kids Overview

• Duration: Over the course of the 10-week season.
• Goal: Each Kilometer Kid aims to run 26.2 miles or the equivalent of a marathon.
• Incentives: Participants will receive rewards upon reaching certain mile markers.
• Inclusivity: No running experience is required: it's about effort, kindness, and fun.

• Focus: The program emphasizes hard work, kindness, and having fun.
• Community: Be a part of a team and work towards individual goals.
• Joy of Running: Experience the joy in running and physical activity.
• Season Finish: The season concludes with the Marietta Daily Journal Gobble Jog, a family event and tradition.

📅 Important Registration Steps

• First Step: Register through FunClubs here.
• Second Step: Participants must also register on the Atlanta Track Club website.
• Instructions: After registering through FunClubs, an email from Coach Kubes will provide the necessary link to register with the Mountain View Team.
• Completion: Both registration steps must be completed to participate.
