PCOS Trailblazers 5k Atlanta: Walk, Hike, or Run for PCOS Awareness

• Date: Sunday, September 28th, 2025
• Time: 9:00am Race Start

🏞️ Location

• Venue: Sweetwater Creek State Park (1750 Mt Vernon Rd, Lithia Springs, GA 30122)
• Virtual: Available for participants who cannot attend in person.

🚗 Parking

• Fee: On-site parking for $5 CASH ONLY.
• Tip: Carpooling is recommended.

🍽️ Event Activities

• Refreshments: Light refreshments will be provided.
• Activities: Yoga, Live Painting & Auction, and Guest Speakers.

🔗 Registration Information

• Early Registration: June 30th - July 31st, 2025: $35/person
• Regular Registration: August 1st - August 31st, 2025: $40/person
• Last Minute Registration: September 1st - September 30th, 2025: $45/person

🥾 Recommended Supplies

• Footwear: Trail Runners or running shoes you don’t mind getting dirty, Hiking Boots.
• Optional: Hiking Poles (if you find them helpful during hikes), Sunscreen.
• Navigation: The AllTrails app for hiking navigation.
• Post-race: Bring Foldable Chairs for our post-race celebration.

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

• Distance: The 5K will take place on the Sweetwater Creek State Park Yellow Trail.
• Fun Hike: There will be a 1-mile Fun Hike for those who don’t enjoy inclines and elevation changes.

• Duration: The virtual option is available for the entire month of September (09/01-09/30)!

• Symptoms: It also causes weight gain, mood swings, acne, hirsutism, and irregular cycles.
• Invitation: You are not required to be diagnosed with PCOS to participate. All are welcome!
