St. Mary's Parish Family Fest 5K Run & Walk

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

St. Mary Parish in Westphalia is hosting a community family fest September 19th-20th. Join us for a 5K run or walk on the morning of the 20th, followed by a 1K fun run. Stay for the games, sport tournaments, food trucks and much more.

📝 2025 Updates

• Route Adjustment: Due to a cross country invitational at P-W High School, we have adjusted the 5K route.
• Participant Safety: The new route will be an out and back course to minimize the amount of time on main roads due to anticipated heavy traffic.
• Event changes: Due to low participation rate, we are eliminating the 5 mile run.

🕗 Event Schedule

• 8:00 AM: 5K Run & 5K Walk
• 8:45 AM: 1K Free Kids Run

🏆 Door Prizes & Awards

Door prizes and awards will be available to pick up immediately following the conclusion of the races. There will be no awards ceremony.

• Trophies: For overall, masters and grandmasters men and women winners for 5K run.
• Medals: Will be awarded for the top 3 finishers in various age groups: 9 and under: 10-14: 15-19: 20-24: 25-29: 30-34: 35-39: 40-44: 45-49: 50-54: 55-59: 60-64: 65-69: 70-74: 75 and over.

📄 Alternative Registration Methods

• Race Day Registration: From 7:00-7:45 AM in St. Mary’s school cafeteria at the north entrance of the school.
• Paper Forms: Available by going to the "Event Info" section of this website and expanding the "Show Registration Details" section.
• Late Registration: There is no additional cost for late registration, however, the family rate is not available for race day registration.
• Shirt Guarantee: Any late registrations (received after 08/20/2025) are not guaranteed shirts.
