Event Overview
Fleet Feet Huntsville & Madison invites you to join runners, walkers, ghosts, and goblins of all ages at the Spooktacular 5K Run and Monster Mile on October 25, 2025. Get crafty and creative and participate in the costume contest or, better yet, compete in costume!
Race Details
- 5K Course: For the official 5K course, click here.
- Start Times: 8:00 a.m. for 5K and 9:00 a.m. for 1 Mile. Awards will be announced at 9:30 a.m.
- Weather Policy: We will run rain or shine!
- Registration Fees: 5K: $25 (July), $30 (August), $35 (October): 1 Mile: $25 (through September), $30 (October).
Packet Pick-Up
- Location: Fleet Feet Huntsville, 2722 Carl T. Jones Drive, Huntsville, AL 35802.
- Date: Packet pick-up will be at Fleet Feet on Friday from 12-6.
- Race Day: Packet pick-up available starting at 7:00 a.m.
- Parking: Parking Garage M will be open starting at 6:30 a.m.
Facilities
- Bathrooms: Port-o-johns will be available next to the parking garage!
- Parking Entry: Enter from Clinton and Church.
- Toilets: Facilities provided for your convenience.
Costume Contest Categories
- Categories: Best animal, cartoon, celebrity, princess, rock star, sports, superhero, group, cutest, funniest, goriest, most Halloweeny, original, politically correct, technologically advanced, traditional, scariest, ugliest.
- Best of Show: Top prize awarded.
- Judging: Please check in with the judges prior to 9:00 a.m. on race day.
- Get Creative: Dress in costume and join the fun!
