Join the PCOS Trailblazers 5K: Walk, Hike, or Run for PCOS Awareness! PCOS Sisters Telehealth Clinic and PCOS Challenge: The National Association for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome are teaming up this September for PCOS Awareness Month to bring you the PCOS Trailblazers 5K. This inspiring event is designed to raise voices and support for the millions of women affected by Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.
PCOS impacts 1 in 10 women and is a leading cause of infertility, along with other symptoms like weight gain, mood swings, acne, and irregular cycles. By joining us, you'll help shine a light on this common condition and show solidarity with those impacted. You don't need a PCOS diagnosis to participate—everyone is welcome, whether you suspect you have PCOS, are a family member, an advocate, or simply want to learn more!
Come out and show your support at one of Douglas County's Georgia Film Trail stops! Sweetwater Creek State Park has been the backdrop for numerous movies and TV shows, including Atlanta, Avengers: Infinity War, Cobra Kai, and The Hunger Games.
Secure your spot early and save!
For your comfort and safety, we recommend bringing trail runners or running shoes you don't mind getting dirty, hiking boots, hiking poles (if helpful), sunscreen, and the AllTrails app for navigation. Don't forget foldable chairs for our post-race celebration!
Can't make it in person? No problem! Our virtual option allows you to participate from anywhere during the entire month of September (September 1st - September 30th). In-person and virtual participants can submit their times here.
Join us in making a difference for PCOS Awareness Month!
