About this race
B-INSPIRED 5K — Run. Walk. B-INSPIRED.
A family/kid-friendly event featuring CHEESE at the finish line, Breakfast Burritos from Weather or Naut Catering, and a Coffee Truck ($)! ☕🧋
I’m so excited to bring back the 2nd Annual B-INSPIRED 5K to our community — a fun, feel-good event all about movement, mindset, and showing up for yourself.
Event Details
- Date: 2026-10-03
- Location: 1875 Peach Ave, Madrid, IA
- Kids Fun Run: Starts at 8:30 AM for children 10 and under
- 5K Race: Starts at 9:00 AM
Registration Information
- No shirts guaranteed: For those who register after 9/19/26!
- Kids Dash: Open for ages 4–10 — wheelchairs, walkers, and mobility chairs are welcome!
- Competition: Registration covers participation in the Kids Dash only.
- Event t-shirts: Not included with Kids Dash registration.
Additional Notes for Participants
- Free Entry: Children under 10 may walk the 5K with a registered adult.
- Registration Fee: Required for children ages 4–10 participating in the Kids Dash.
- Prizes: Not provided for Kids Dash participants.
- Registration Required: Participants over age 10 must register for the 5K.

Purpose of the Event
If you know me, you know I pour my heart into two things: Letter Eats by B — the business I built from the ground up — and prioritizing my health, both mentally and physically.
This 5K? It’s my way of creating space for YOU to do the same.
Why We Run
The B-Inspired Scholarship will be awarded to a Boone High School senior who demonstrates drive, creativity, and passion for their future — whether that’s entrepreneurship or a career in fitness, sports, or wellness.
Packet Pickup
Morning of the race starting at 7:30 AM.
Post-Race Activities
Following the race, participants are invited to enjoy all that the Arboretum has to offer. Additional details about The Iowa Arboretum can be found at iowaarboretum.org.
