It's time for Virginia Run's favorite time of the year! We are happy to return for the 34th Annual Virginia Run Turkey Trot 5k run and 3k walk. This Thanksgiving day tradition is a great way to kick off the day with families and friends.
Founded in 1989, the Virginia Run Turkey Trot welcomes participants into the holiday season by promoting a spirit of community. This year, we invite runners and families back to this beloved tradition, where we will gather for a special day of turkey hats, dogs with feathered coats, and the excitement of the race. But make no mistake: We intend to combine our fun with addressing the needs of less fortunate families near and far. The Trot has raised roughly 1 million dollars for charity since its inception. Held on Thanksgiving, it is not just a race, but a reminder of what really matters. We hope you can join us.
THE AMERICAN BOY PROJECT is a 501c3 dedicated to helping anyone struggling with addiction. Suffering from addiction takes many forms, including mental health challenges, financial ruin, ridicule from society, and even the very real risk of death. This project offers treatment scholarships to candidates with no means, allowing them to receive necessary help. Through charity events and restorative action, we aid families in navigating these challenges.
