Race Details

• Organizers: Oyster River Youth Association, Durham Parks & Recreation, and Madbury Recreation Commission
• Race Features: Scenic trails, 2-mile loop through Powder Major Forest
• Terrain: Natural terrain with roots, mud, fall leaves, and a “hay-bale hurdle”
• Fun Run: A real trail running experience for younger participants

Community Impact

• Proceeds: A portion of fees supports youth recreation scholarships
• Community Support: Assistance for program registration fees for local youths

• Pre-Registration: Available online or in-person on race day
• In-Person Registration: 9:00-9:45 A.M. on the day of the race
• Race Shirts: Given to all 5K registrants who sign up by 9/6/26
