Lace Up Your Running Shoes and Help Shelter Animals!

Sign up for the first annual Run for the Rescues 5K, a fun event for the entire family to support the Lumpkin County Animal Shelter in Dahlonega. Whether you're a seasoned runner or prefer a leisurely walk, this event welcomes participants of all fitness levels - and their four-legged companions!

Every registration fee and donation directly supports the Lumpkin County Animal Shelter, saving the lives of homeless, abused and abandoned animals in our community.

• Life-saving treatments: Medical treatments for animals in need.
• Prevent Overpopulation: Spay/neuter services to control pet overpopulation.
• Basic Care: Daily care, food, shelter, and love for animals awaiting their forever homes.

Participation Details

Run or Walk with Your Dog! Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome!

Where: In front of the Lumpkin County Visitors Center, 13 S Park St., Downtown Dahlonega

When: Saturday, November 15, 9 am (Registration begins at 8:00 am)
