Wesley Woods Trail Race

🏞️ Winter Camp is Back!

• Event Date: February 7, 2026
• Location: 329 Wesley Woods Rd, Townsend, TN
• Distance Options: Choose from Kids mile, 3-6-9 mile runs, and a 3 mile trail hike!
• Trail Type: Double and some single track trails with hilly terrain!

🏃 Race Course Details

• Start Line: Race begins on Camp's main gravel service road.
• Trail Description: 3 mile course to be run 1-2-3 times for longer distance runners.
• Hiking Option: A 3 mile hike for non-runners to support camp mission!
• Water Station: Located at the gravel road/trail intersection (mile 2).

👟 Hiking and History Guide

• Hike Lap: Single lap of the 3-mile course.
• Pace Options: Hike at your own pace or join local trail experts.
• Guides: Kimberly Nunnally and Brooke Hartman are experienced hikers.
• Background: Both have deep connections to Camp Wesley Woods and the Smoky Mountains.

📋 Course Description

• Path: Begins at Nickel lodge, follows gravel road merging into a narrower service road.
• Trail Finish: Hikers return on the gravel road, while runners complete their course at the Start/Finish arch.
• Length: Approx. 1.7 miles before returning to the main gravel road.
• Direction: Runners turn around at the camp entrance to head back to Nickel lodge.

• Shirts: Long Sleeve Wesley Woods Shirts included with registration.
• Proceeds: All proceeds benefit the camp's ministries throughout the year.
• Store: Camp store will be open for purchasing previous Camp Wesley Woods T-shirts.
• Support: Your participation directly aids camp programs and events.

• Top Runners: Awards for top 3 Males & top 3 Females in the 6-mile race.
• Age Groups: Awards given to top runners per 10-year increments.
