Run 4 Orphan Rescue 2025

This 5K event will raise funds to support our orphanage in Karamoja, a remote and desperate region in northeastern Uganda. 

Mission Critical International has established a safe haven in this destitute area. We are currently caring for and serving over 360 Karimojong orphans, providing them with food, shelter, and love. Nearly every week, we are blessed to rescue another child from imminent danger.

Your participation in this event will help sustain and expand this vital mission. Thank you for being part of this incredible effort to bring hope and healing to these children.

Event details and schedule

The Run 4 Orphan Rescue will take place Saturday, September 20, 2025 @9:00AM.

Packet Pick Up: 

• Date: Race Day – Saturday, September 20, 2025

• Time: 7:30 AM until 15 minutes prior to the race start

   

The chip timed 5k course will wind throughout the pathways of Rob Fleming Park, providing a scenic route and fun, enjoyable atmosphere fostering friendly competition. The 5k race is open to runners of all abilities and recommended for participants ages 10 and older.

Parking is available at Creekside Forest Elementary School and Risen Church as well as Rob Fleming Park.

There will not be an Awards Ceremony, but awards will be distributed onsite.

The registration fee is $35 includes finisher medal and packet. 

STROLLERS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE COURSE.

Refund Policy:

100 percent of your entry fee will be refunded until August, 20, 2025. Refunds will not include Active.com processing fee. Refunds can take up to 3 weeks for processing. Please email bevyb19@gmail.com to request a refund.

Weather Cancellations:

We have a "no refund policy" in regards to weather cancellations of any kind as well as changes to the race after registration. Unforeseen changes can occur at any time no matter how finalized anything seems to be. Any changes made to the race are done after careful consideration, usually due to safety concerns that arise after the race has been planned. We do everything we can to create a better, safer, more enjoyable experience for all participants.
