The Bearathon is a challenging half-marathon that has earned itself the nickname as “The Toughest Half in Texas.” The Bearathon serves as one of Student Foundation's fundraising efforts each spring to raise money for student scholarships. The race is open to the public and had nearly 2,000 registered runners from across the state of Texas and around the country. Each year, the race proceeds benefit Student Foundation Scholarships for deserving Baylor students. Last year, the Bearathon contributed over $62,000 to student scholarships.
The 6K run starts and ends at the same location as the Bearathon and will take runners on a scenic tour of Baylor University's campus.
You can register for the race up until 12pm on Friday, March 27. However, we have a limited number of spots, so there is a chance all registration spots will fill up before then. We encourage you to register as soon as possible to guarantee yourself a spot!
