Beer and cheer mile

🍻 Event Overview

Join us for the Beer & Cheer Mile! A lighthearted neighborhood event with a powerful purpose: to rally around our friend and neighbor, Melissa. She’s a devoted wife, fellow military spouse, and loving mom to two young boys, now facing late-stage colon cancer with incredible strength.

• Date: 2025-11-30
• Location: Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC
• Time: In-person date and time still TBD
• Virtual Option: Feel free to do this virtually!

🏃‍♀️ How the Event Works

We’ll take on four laps together, running, walking, sipping, and cheering. Not a runner? That’s okay! Come for the cheering, the blue ribbons, and the community spirit.

• Laps: Each participant will run or walk a quarter mile.
• Beverages: Stop to enjoy your beverage of choice (beer, NA beer, chocolate milk, or whatever feels right!).
• Distance: Four laps, four cheers, and one mile filled with laughter, encouragement, and community.
• Dress Code: Wear blue to honor colon cancer awareness.

Proceeds and donations from this event will go directly to support Melissa and her family with medical and daily living expenses as they navigate this fight. Every step, sip, and cheer makes a difference. Raise a glass for hope, and let’s show Melissa and her family the power of love, support, and togetherness.
