11th Annual Resolution 5K and 1-Mile Run

🏃‍♂️ START THE YEAR OFF RIGHT!

🎉 Join Us for our New Year's Day RESOLUTION 5K and 1 mile run.

📍 Race Location: 24th Street Park, Virginia Beach

⏰ Race Times: 1 mile 9:15 AM - 5k 10:00 AM

🏁 COURSE:

• Type: This is a 1 mile and 5k out-and-back course on the boardwalk.
• Start Point: Starting at 24th street.
• Turnaround: 17th street for the mile and 2nd street for the 5k.
• Finish: Both races finish back at 24th street.

💧 FLUIDS AND FOOD:

• Aid Station: There will be 1 aid station with water at the 5k turnaround point.

🎽 AMENITIES & POST-RACE:

• Finisher Medal: All registered runners for the 5k and mile will receive a finisher medal.
• Custom Sweatshirt: Participants will receive a custom race sweatshirt.

📦 PACKET PICKUPS:

• Early Pickup: Running Etc. in Virginia Beach Tuesday December 30th 4pm-6pm AND Wednesday December 31st 1pm-3pm.
• Race Day Pickup: 8:00 to 9:45 on Race Day at the 24th Street Park Stage.

⏳ TIME LIMITS:

• 5K Start: The 5k race starts at 10 AM and will close at Noon.
• Walker Arrangements: Walkers may arrange an early start or self-time after 10:00am.

🎉 POST RACE PARTY:

• After Party: After Party at Murphy's Irish Pub (subject to change).

AWARDS:

• 5K Race: Top 3 OVERALL Male and Female, Masters, and age group awards.
• 1 Mile: Top 3 OVERALL Male and Female in designated age groups will receive awards.

📝 REGISTRATION:

• No Race Day Registration: No registrations will be accepted on race day.

👥 STRIDER PLUS/LEGACY RUNNERS:

• Registration Requirement: Strider Plus members MUST register.
• Discount: Discount automatically applied at checkout.

💳 CLUB MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNTS:

• Available Discount: A Club membership discount of $5.00 is available up thru Race Registration closure.
• Automatic Application: Discounts are automatically applied on the payment page during registration.

🍼 STROLLERS:

• Policy: Strollers are permitted.
