Moraga Turkey Trot-2025

Event Overview

Please join the Moraga Chamber of Commerce on Thanksgiving morning for the annual Moraga Turkey Trot! Trot your way out to the cart path at Moraga Country Club wearing your favorite zany costume, activewear or PJs! You can push a pram, set up a run squad or saunter solo, but just be sure to bring your community spirit!

Race Details

• Events: “Unofficial” timed 5K and 1.5m races
• Awards: Best Thanksgiving-themed costume and speediest turkey
• Prizes: Random bib number draws to earn prizes from local businesses
• Participants: Runners, walkers and lollygaggers of all ages are welcome!

Registration Information

Advance registration is required. Unfortunately, we cannot take registrations on-site. Registrants receive a T-shirt (sizes & tees not guaranteed - see registration details), a numbered running bib and goodies, while they last! Participants will check the digital timer at START/FINISH for self-timing. Come enjoy this wholesome tradition and celebrate Thanksgiving morning together! You do not need to be a member of the Chamber or the Country Club to participate.

Start Times

• 5K: START TIME (8:10a) – Participants line up by 8am
• 1.5m: START TIME (8:25a) – Participants line up following the departure of 5K (8:15am)

Important Notes

• Registration: --Registration day-of is Not Available--
• Requirements: Anyone on the course should be registered, bib'd and have signed the waiver.
• Parking: Limited parking available, and traffic laws enforced.
• Transportation: Arrange for carpool, drop-offs and walking over whenever possible.
