Asheville Turkey Trot 2024

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The 24th Annual Asheville Turkey Trot 5K and Gobble Wobble 1 Mile Fun Run presented by Jus’ Running is Thanksgiving Day- Thursday, November 28, 2024. Portions of the proceeds will be donated to MANNA Food Bank.

📅 Important Dates

• Early Packet Pickup & Registration: Wednesday, November 27 | 3pm - 6pm at Asheville High School (173 Victoria Rd. Asheville, NC 28801)
• Race Day Packet Pickup & Registration: Thursday, November 28 | 7am - 8:30am at Pack Square in Downtown Asheville

💰 Registration Fees

With shirt: $45 for the 5K or $25 for 1 miler

No shirt: $25 for the 5K or $10 for the 1 miler

🚫 Race Regulations

• Pets: NO DOGS/PETS are allowed due to restrictions. Please don’t bring them.
• Course Safety: The course is not completely closed, so this rule is for safety purposes.
• Shirt Availability: If not registered by November 3, the shirts and sizes may not be available.
• Timing: Race timing will be provided by Right on Time Productions.

🌍 Community Support

Our region has experienced great devastation from Hurricane Helene, but this race is still planned. We have added a Donate option to give towards others who have lost much or all, who would otherwise not be able to take part in this year's race. 📍 Turn by Turn Directions for Turkey Trot 5K

1. Race starts on Woodfin Street in front of the downtown YMCA
2. Head toward Central Ave, turn right.
3. To the top of the hill, turn right on E. Chestnut St.
4. Turn left on Charlotte.
5. Follow Charlotte St to Evelyn Place, turn left.
6. Follow Evelyn place, crossing Edwin/Kimberly to Murdock St, turn left onto Murdock.
7. Follow Murdock to Hillside St, turn right.
8. Hillside to N. Liberty, turn left.
9. Follow Liberty, crossing Chestnut St to Orange St, turn left.
10. Follow Orange to Central Ave., turn right onto Central.
11. Follow Central Ave down to Woodfin St, turn left on Woodfin.
12. Follow Woodfin which changes name to Oak St. to the traffic circle.
13. Turn right onto College St.
14. Finish is approximately .1 mile on the left at Pack Square Park.

1. Race starts on Woodfin Street in front of the First Congregational Church.
2. Head toward Central Ave, turn right.
3. Turn left on Orange Street.
4. Turn left on S. Liberty Street.
5. Turn left on Elm Street.
6. Turn right on Central Avenue.
7. Turn left of Woodfin Street.
8. Follow Woodfin which changes name to Oak St. to the traffic circle.
9. Turn right onto College St.
10. Finish is approximately .1 mile on the left at Pack Square Park.
