Sunday, June 28th
- Time: 6:30-7:00 - Live Packet Pick Up on the Bethany Beach Bandstand
- Time: 7:00 - Pre Race Announcements
- Time: 7:15 - Firecracker 5k Walk/Run Starts on Atlantic Ave. & Garfield Pkwy
- Time: 8:15 - Awards are presented
Beneficiary
- Purpose: All donations benefit the Bethany Beach 4th of July Celebration.
Important Notes
- Shirts: No shirts or packets will be mailed. If you are unable to attend after registering, please make arrangements for someone else to pick up your shirt.
- Course Safety: In consideration of the safety of all participants, NO HAND CYCLES, STROLLERS (Other than Baby Jogging Strollers), BABIES IN CARRIERS/BACKPACKS, IN-LINE SKATES, SKATEBOARDS, BICYCLES OR ANIMALS ON LEASHES will be allowed on the course. This will be strictly enforced.
Weather Policy
- Conditions: The Firecracker 5k may be cancelled or delayed if any of the following weather conditions exist: Hurricane Watch or Warning: Tropical Storm Watch or Warning: Extreme thunderstorms and lightning in the vicinity of the race: Flash Flood Watch or Warnings in the area of the race.
- Refund Policy: Such conditions will not result in refunding of any race entry fees or future event credits.
