NEW RACE LOCATION

• Grove Park: is the new location for this race.
• Previous Events: The Grove Park has hosted the Firecracker 5k, Seawitch 5k, and Pumpkin Pie 5k.

DESCRIPTION

• History: This race is one of the oldest 5-mile races in Delaware, now in its 43rd year.
• Format: A live event, the Seashore 5 Miler is the 2nd of two five milers in the series.
• Charity: Proceeds benefit local charities in the Cape Region.

RACE LOCATION

• Grove Park: Located in Rehoboth Beach.
• Entrance Fees: Daily entrance fees may apply at Cape Henlopen State Park. Be prepared.
• Note: Entrance fee is separate from the event registration.

RACE TIME

• Start Time: 7:30 am

RACE REGISTRATION

• Early Bird Registration: $30 until June 28th at midnight.
• Pre Registration: $35 from June 29th to July 11th at midnight.
• Race-Day Registration: $40, open at 6:00 am, closing at 7:15 am.

Registration is available online through runsignup. Also printable entry forms can be sent to Seashore Striders C/O Seashore 5m, 9 Gander Lane; Lewes, DE 19958 before July 6th for a guaranteed t-shirt.

• Finish Line: Produced by Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc.
• Awards Ceremony: Will take place approximately 20 minutes after the final finisher or around 9 am.
• T-shirts: Custom printed for participants.
• Awards: Custom awards for the top finishers.

AWARDS

• Categories: Overall Male & Female Champions, Overall Male & Female Masters, top three finishers in 16 age categories.
• Award Pickup: Awards can be picked up locally or shipped for a $10 fee.

CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES INFO

• Entry Fee: The Championship Series requires no extra fee, just the standard race entry fee.
• Qualification: Must participate in specific races to qualify for the Championship Series.

WALKER NOTE

A separate 5K WALK DIVISION will be added for participants meeting USATF standards. Details for qualifying in the Walk Series Division are provided.

REFUNDS/DEFERRAL

• Policy: No refunds, but options to transfer to a future event, donate entry fees, or defer to the next year.
