The Lacing Up for Cancer Care 5K and 1 mile Run/Walk moves to Downtown Statesville!
This event is sponsored by Iredell Health System where 100% of the proceeds from this race will be donated to the Iredell Health Foundation Cancer Care & Patient Support Fund. This fund provides various types of financial assistance to patients as they navigate their cancer journey. This 5K is for walkers or runners.

Race Day Schedule:
- 7:30 AM Event Site opens
- 8:15 AM Opening Ceremonies
- 8:30 AM 5K begins
- 8:45 AM 1 mile run/walk begins
- 9:45 AM Medal Presentations
Medals will be provided for the 5K only, for overall men and women 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers, masters men and women 1st, 2nd, 3rd place finishers, Age group as follows: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39. Masters age group 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.
