Greetings, friends! Thank you for your interest in the Ray Coleman Memorial 5K (and 1 Mile Family Fun Run)!
About Ray Coleman
- Legend: Ray Coleman was a Keansburg legend.
- Career: In addition to his 4+ decades as a high school science teacher, Ray held positions as high school athletic director, boys and girls basketball coach, state champion bowling coach and state champion cross country coach.
- Legacy: Ray gave everything to the students of Keansburg and now has an opportunity to keep on giving.
- Beneficiary: Every dollar raised will benefit the Keansburg High School Booster Club.
Event Details
- Date: Join us at 10am on Sunday, September 20th, 2026.
- Location: Thompson Park in Lincroft, NJ.
- Activities: A family-friendly 5K event (and 1 Mile Fun Run) to celebrate the life and memory of Ray Coleman.
- Extras: We will also include a "tricky tray" basket auction, food trucks, Grateful Dead music and more. Wear your favorite tie-dye to celebrate Ray's love for The Grateful Dead!
Registration Information
- Shirt: Every 5K/1 Mile registrant will receive a tie-dye race t-shirt, to be picked up at the race!
- Sizes: Sizes range from Youth XS to Adult 3X.
- Deadline: Register before August 18th to guarantee a shirt in your size.

Gold/Silver/Bronze Medals will be awarded to race winners, Male and Female, in the following categories:
