57th Annual Jambalaya Festival 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

📅 When

• Date: Saturday, May 24, 2025
• Time: 7:00 AM - Registration / Sign In
• 1 Mile Fun Run: 8:00 AM - "Kids Run" Start
• 5K Run Start: 8:30 AM

📍 Event Location

Please be aware that the race has moved to the Lamar Dixon Expo Center located at 9039 S. St. Landry Ave., Gonzales, LA.

🎉 Event Details

• T-shirt: Entrants will receive a free T-shirt and free jambalaya at the after party.
• Course: Run and after party is through the grounds of the Lamar Dixon Expo Center.
• Atmosphere: Music, cooking, party atmosphere - This is a flat, fast course!
• Teams: 5K Teams will consist of 3 team members: the captain will create the Team Name.

⚠️ Important Notes

• T-shirts: Not guaranteed for those who register after 5/16/2025.

💰 Registration Fees

• Fees: Till May 24th - $25 for the 5K, $15 for the 1 Mile, and $30 for both.

📦 Packet Pickup

Race day starting at 7 AM at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center located at 9039 S. St. Landry Ave., Gonzales.

🏆 Awards for 1 Mile Fun Run

• Medals: 1st, 2nd, 3rd place medals for Male & Female - overall and age categories 1-4, 5-10 and 11-15.

🏅 Awards for 5K

• Overall Awards: Top Overall Male & Female – 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each group Male & Female.
• Age Groups: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 till 70+.
• Team Awards: 1st and 2nd place medals for teams with lowest total time.
