Join us for our 13th Annual run/walk to honor and celebrate the life of Kendra R. Atherton and to raise money for a scholarship fund in her name to benefit college students who have lost a parent to cancer, and who display the qualities possessed by Kendra. As of today, the K5K: A Run for Kendra has awarded over $140,000 in scholarships to students who have lost a parent to cancer.

Where: Virginia Beach Boardwalk or Virtually

🎉 After Party

Join us for our after party at The Shack after the race is over! The Shack is located at 712 Atlantic Ave, Virginia Beach, VA 23451.

🌐 Virtual Participation

• Accessibility: Whether you live in the area or are 500 miles away, you now have the opportunity to run/walk the K5K wherever you are!
• Follow Us: Follow us on Facebook to get connected with our race no matter if you are participating in-person or virtually.
• Virtual Events: When you sign up for our virtual event, you will also receive emails with instructions on how to post your results.
• Result Posting: Virtual results can be posted at any time during the month of November. You can compete with people participating all over the country!

👥 Who Can Participate

The K5K: A Run for Kendra is for absolutely everyone!!

💰 Registration Prices

• 12 & Under: $20: Price increases to $25 on 11/1
• Student (13-24): $30: Price increases to $35 on 11/1
• Adult (25+): $35: Price increases to $40 on 11/1

Note: Packet Pick-Up will be from 3-6pm ET on Friday, November 21st at Running Etc. (1940 Laskin Rd UNIT 302, Virginia Beach, VA 23454).
