Event Series

• Series Dates: June 5th, July 10th, and August 7th.
• Championship: Compete in all three events to be eligible for Championship prizes in five-year age groups.
• Categories: Olympic-distance Triathlon and Aquabike are sanctioned by USA Triathlon.
• Not Sanctioned: The Super Sprint Triathlon is NOT sanctioned.

Event Details and Schedule

• Location: Rancho Seco Park, Herald, CA.
• Course: 1.5 k swim - 40 k bike - 10 k run.
• Included: Swim cap, post-race refreshments, and a commemorative Finisher piece.
• Finisher Gear: Back this year for all participants.

Distances

• Tri for Real: 1.5K swim - 40K bike - 10K run.
• Aquabike: 1.5K swim - 40K bike.
• Super Sprint Triathlon: 200 yd swim - 4 mile bike - 1 mile run.

Start Times

• Super Sprint Triathlon: 7:30 am.
• Tri for Real Triathlon: 8 a.m.
• Aquabike: 8:05 a.m.
• Entry Notice: Access to the park closes from 7:30 am to 8 am due to the race course.

Relay Teams

Relay Teams are available for this year's event.

Packet Pick Up Information

• Availability: Race packets will be available from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m.
• Location: At the race site.
• Entry Fee: There is a $15 park entrance fee per vehicle.

Championship Eligibility

Race in all three TRI for Real Triathlons - June 5th, July 10th, and August 7th to be eligible for Age Group Series Champion Awards.

Volunteer Program

Our Race for FREE Athlete Volunteer Program offers a chance to get involved, earn a $50 volunteer voucher, and participate in multi-sport events. Each volunteer shift is 4 hours. Contact [email protected] to reserve a position quickly.

Refund and Transfer Information

TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all our events. A refund requested before race week will be given as a TBF Race credit minus a $25 processing fee. Transfers are allowed within a one-year timeframe with a $25 fee, but not during race week. All events are held Rain or Shine.
