The TRI for FUN Triathlon & Duathlon are back in 2027 at Rancho Seco Park in Herald, California with races on June 6th, July 11th, and August 8th for the 44th year of TRI for FUN Triathlon racing!

Event Details and Schedule

• Race Location: Rancho Seco Park, Herald
• Race Start: July 11, 2027
• Race History: Started in 1983 by Fleet Feet Sports, taken over by TBF Racing in 2001.
• Event Features: Half-mile swim, 16 mile bike, and 3 mile run course.

2027 Race Features

• Series Year: 44th year at Rancho Seco Park.
• Race Overview: Lake swim, road bike, dirt trail run.
• DU for FUN: Features a 1 mile run, 16 mile bike, and 3 mile run.
• Finisher Items: All racers will receive a TFF Finisher item and post-race refreshments.

Distances

• Triathlon: 1/2 mile swim - 16 mile bike - 3 mile run
• Duathlon: 1 mile run - 16 mile bike - 3 mile run

Relay Teams

Relay Teams are available for the TRI for FUN Triathlon and DU for FUN Duathlon events. Awards will be presented to the top three teams in three divisions: Coed, Female, Male.

Packet Pick Up Information

Race packets will be available race morning from 6:30 am to 8:30 am at the race site. There is a $15 park entrance fee per vehicle.

Start Times

• Triathlon: 8 a.m. Wave Starts
• Duathlon: 8 a.m. Mass Start
• Entry Closure: Rancho Seco Park entry closed from 7:30 am to 8 am due to TRI for Kids event.
• Pparking Options: Vehicles can park and walk in approximately one mile or wait until the road opens at 8 am.

Race for FREE Information

Our Race for FREE Athlete Volunteer Program offers a chance to get involved with multi-sport events, have fun, and earn a $50 TBF Racing Volunteer voucher good towards entry fees at any of our events this year. Each volunteer shift is 4 hours. We ask volunteers to reserve a volunteer position at any of our events by emailing: Volunteers@totalbodyfitness.com as our volunteer positions will fill up quickly.

Refund and Transfer Information

TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A Refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Race transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. ALL TBF Racing events are held Rain or Shine.
