Tri for Real Triathlon #2

USA Triathlon sanctioned Tri for Real Olympic-distance Triathlon has three races in 2027. June 5th, July 10th & August 7th. Relay Teams, Aquabike and a Super Sprint Triathlon are also available.

Championship Eligibility: Back this year is the TRI for REAL Series Championship! Race all three events in the Olympic-distance Series to be eligible for Championship prizes in each five-year age group for men and women.

Event Details and Schedule

• Location: Rancho Seco Park, Herald
• Course: The TRI for REAL Series is USAT Sanctioned for 2027, with our Aquabike sanctioned as well. The Super Sprint Triathlon is Non-USAT.
• Race Details: These races are held at Rancho Seco Park in Herald, California. The course has a 1.5 k swim - 40 k bike - 10 k run.
• Included for Athletes: Each athlete receives a swim cap, post race refreshments, plus a commemorative Finisher piece.

Distances

• Tri for Real Triathlon: 1.5K swim-40K bike-10K run
• Aquabike: 1.5K swim-40K bike
• Super Sprint Triathlon: 200 yd swim-4 mile bike-1 mile run

Start Times

• Super Sprint Triathlon: 7:30 am
• Tri for Real Triathlon: 8 a.m.
• Aquabike: 8:10 a.m.

Relay Teams

Relay Teams are available for this year's event and will start with the Aquabike wave.

Packet Pick Up Information

Race packets will be available race morning from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. at the race site. There is a $15 park entrance fee per vehicle.

Access Information

Entry into Rancho Seco Park is closed from 7:30 am to 8 am due to Super Sprint Triathlon bike course closure. Vehicles can park and walk in approximately one mile or wait until the road opens at 8 am.

TRI for Real Series Champions

Race in all three TRI for Real Olympic-distance Triathlons - June 5th, July 10th, and August 7th to be eligible for Age Group Series Champion Awards.

Race for FREE Information

Our Race for FREE Athlete Volunteer Program offers a chance to get involved with multi-sport events, have fun, and earn a $50 TBF Racing Volunteer voucher good towards entry fees at any of our events this year. Each volunteer shift is 4 hours. We ask volunteers to reserve a volunteer position at any of our events by emailing: Volunteers@Totalbodyfitness.com as our volunteer positions will fill up quickly.

Refund and Transfer Information

TBF Racing has a No Refund policy on all of our events. A Refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Race transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Participant transfers are allowed for this event, with a $25 fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. ALL TBF Racing events are held Rain or Shine.
