Details about the 2026 Ride
- Type: Road Ride visiting local farms to taste cider donuts
- Distance: 36 mile ride with options to join or leave the ride at any point
- Speed: Average speed 16-20mph. 2000 feet of climbing with rolling hills
- Route Info: Route will be on open roads in the New Paltz, Milton and Marlboro area
- GPS Route: The Ride with GPS route is HERE
- Meeting Point: Meeting location, parking, start and finish point is Twin Star Orchards
- Schedule: 8:50am Welcome remarks: 9:00am sharp ride begins behind the White Bronco lead out vehicle
- Police Support: Police assistance possible at a few major road crossings
Farm Stops
- Order of Farms: We will visit these farms in this order:
- Twin Star Orchards
- Minard’s Farm
- Weed Orchard (not confirmed yet)
- Locust Grove
- Dubois Farm
- Twin Star Orchard afterparty
- Afterparty: Donuts, Cider, Pizza, Burgers, Music
- Recovery Lounge: Hyperice Recovery Lounge with recovery boots
- Award System: Delicious Donut Award point system to rate the donuts
Registration Information
- Opening Date: Registration opens September 1
- Process: Fill out Athlete Information Form and complete the online waiver
- Cost: Registration is $50 per rider
- Includes: Ticket for a donut or apple at each farm, CDBT water bottle, one cider drink at the finish, and 10 minute recovery boot session
- Group Registration: If registering for multiple riders, please register separately
- Additional Fees: Additional donut tasting/food purchasing fees at each farm are covered by each rider on site
- Transportation: We will aim to stay together as a group, stopping for 20 - 30 minutes at each farm before proceeding
- Safety Note: Please ride with due regard for your surroundings, other cyclists and vehicles on the roadway
Safety and Guidelines
- Traffic Rules: Ride safely and obey all traffic laws. Helmets are advised. Ride single file and to the right
- Bike Type: Road or gravel bikes are recommended. Some gravel roads to farm entrances
- Rider Levels: Riders of all levels are welcome, but this is a bit more moderate to advanced rider level with hills
- No Pets: No dogs please. Families and pups can meet at Twin Star for the afterparty
Weather Policy
- Ride Status: Ride is rain or shine
- Rain Policy: We will ride if it is raining light
- Cancellation: Moderate to heavy continuous rain will cancel the ride
- Reschedule Option: Registration fees could be carried over to new rescheduled date if it is postponed
