About this race
Event Overview
3rd annual Coach English Trail Run hosted by Building Fires.
Whether you are a seasoned runner or just starting out, this event is for everyone. If running/walking is not your thing, we have a great community event for the whole family to enjoy!
Community Event
- Activity: Runners and walkers of all abilities come together for rolling hills and scenic 5K -ish trail run through the trees along the river of Boling Park.
- Live Music: Local artists will be on stage. Bring your chairs to sit and enjoy!
- Food Trucks: Community BBQ, Taco Truck, and Kona Ice.
- For the Kids: 1 mile fun run, Bounce House/Inflatables, Cherokee County Fire Truck to touch and explore.
Race Day Schedule
- 5:00 PM: Race Day packet pick up at Boling Park.
- 5:45 PM: Kids 1 mile fun run start.
- 6:00 PM: 5K -ish Trail Run start.
Winners & Awards
All runners will receive a race bib and a 2026 soft style race day t-shirt. Shirts are unisex adult sizing and youth sizing. Race day shirt is not guaranteed for those who register after September 1st.
Unique 5K -ish race medals will be awarded to overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall males and females, as well as the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall finishers of the kids fun run.
