Race Overview
Get ready for a spooktacular adventure at the Skeleton Trail Shuffle 5K at the beautiful Friends Creek Conservation Area!
This one-of-a-kind Halloween trail run/walk will take you winding along an old wagon trail, through scenic open meadows, beneath the colorful fall canopy of trees on dirt trails, and across the infamous swaying bridge. Whether you're chasing a new PR or simply enjoying a festive walk with family and friends, you'll love every step of this unforgettable course.
Costume Contest
🧙♂️ Costumes are highly encouraged! Show off your Halloween spirit and compete for fun prizes in our Adult Costume Contest.
Post-Race Celebration
🌲 After you cross the finish line, head over to Slate - located at 281 North Street in Argenta, for the Awards Ceremony/After Party and enjoy warm, delicious, homemade food while celebrating an amazing day on the trails!
Kids Activities
🎃 Bring the little ghouls and goblins, too! Our Costumed ½-Mile Dash is the perfect way for kids to join the fun, and every finisher will receive a goody bag at the finish line. Tot Trot will take place on an open meadow trail.

- Kids Half Mile Dash: 9am - open to ages 2-10 years
- 5K Trail Run: 9:30am - wear your best costume!

- 5K Registration: 8:30am-9:15am ($40.00)
