Dollin' it Up with Dolly! Presented by Fleet Feet

Event Overview

Kick off GO Fest 2026 with a glamorous homage to the one and only, Dolly Parton!

To honor Dolly Parton, and her legacy of kindness, this year's GO Fest Beer mile is all-things rhinestone and big hair. Grab three or four of your closest friends, put on your best Dolly-inspired outfit, and get ready to run, drink, and make your way through the infamous Elmwood Hill switchbacks!

Sure, the fastest team will earn bragging rights, but speed alone won’t win you the real prizes. This year, we’re looking for the team that can really doll it up like Dolly!

Think rhinestones, big hair, fringe, country glam, sequins, cowboy hats, and anything else that would make Dolly proud. Come as Dolly herself, or just put together your own over-the-top look.

Race day is on Friday, October 16th and to celebrate, the theme this year is Four Ring Circus!! So channel your favorite circus act and go all out!

Race Schedule

• 5:30-5:45pm: Check in (Bring ID to show you are 21+, MUST be checked in by 6:00p.m.)
• 6:00pm: Mandatory Pre-Race Meeting
• 6:15pm: Race Start

Registration Information

• Team Limit: 25 Teams
• Cost: $50 PER TEAM (Up to 4 members, or $12.50 each)
• Registration Deadline: Closes on 10/15/26 at 11:59pm
• Race Format: Will wind through the festival and consist of 4 laps.

Prizes will be awarded to best team costume. The sky is the limit for this one, so get creative!

Beer Relay Guidelines

• Age Requirement: All participants must be 21 or older
• ID Verification: Participants must have proof of age and obtain an ID band from the ID tent prior to the event
• Team Members: 3 to 4 members per relay team (Minimum of 2 per team)
• Beer Consumption: Beer must be consumed before starting each lap
• Trash Disposal: Empty containers must be deposited in the trash. NO LITTERING!
• Relay Protocol: Participants must alternate on each lap
• Tagging Requirement: On laps 2, 3, and 4, participants must be tagged by the preceding teammate before beginning their lap
• Contact Policy: Unnecessary contact with other participants could result in disqualification (beer mile is not a contact sport)
• High Fives: Mandatory high fives to each other after completing the race
• Fun Factor: Most importantly, have fun, laugh, and enjoy making memories with your friends

Setting Up Team

Only one person from each team needs to initially set up their team with a password and pay the one-time fee. Once the team is created, other team members can select that team via the drop down menu and follow through to confirm registration. Only the person setting up the team will pay the fee.

Team Registration Steps

• Enter personal information: If you set up more than one member at time of team setup, it will look like you will be charged for each participant. IGNORE. It will drop off when you go to pay.

EACH TEAM HAS TO HAVE AT LEAST THREE MEMBERS TO PARTICIPATE ON RACE DAY. Captains of each team will be able to add and remove members until registration ends.
