Tumbleweed's Run for the Animals

🏃‍♂️Race Overview

• Event: Run, jog, or waddle this 5 km or 1.0 mi course.
• Location: Beautiful Rancho Reata Canyon trail system, Kennewick, WA.
• Purpose: Support southeastern Washington’s only rescue and sanctuary for farm animals.
• Route: Scenic single-track trails with some paved neighborhood roads, starting and finishing at the animal sanctuary.

🐾Post-Race Activities

• Animal Meet & Greet: Join us at the sanctuary after the run to meet the animals you are helping to support, including 5 new residents since last year.
• Sanctuary Tour: A tour will begin at 10:15 am for all participants.

🏆Awards and Gifts

• Top Finishers: The top 3 male and female finishers for the 5k will receive a unique finisher gift.
• 1.0 Mile Finisher: The first-place finisher for the 1.0 miles will also receive a unique finisher gift.
• Registration Gift: All registered participants will receive a glass mason jar etched with one of the sanctuary residents.
• Highlighted Resident: The featured resident changes each year, with Freddie in 2023 and Sally Sue in 2024.

• Address Confirmation: The address of the sanctuary will be emailed to registered participants on Oct 16th.
• Visitor Guidelines: Race participants and visitors are expected to follow the visitor guidelines for the safety of all animals, birds, and people at the sanctuary.
