🏃♂️ SUPERHERO FOR SPECIAL OLYMPICS 5K RUN/WALK
Join us for the first Superhero for Special Olympics 5K Run/Walk in Gainesville GA at the Marketplace. The race will be run on the Highlands to Island Trail. It is an out and back course.
🦸♀️ Dress Code
Come dressed as your favorite Superhero! It can be a real hero (policeman, Mom, etc.) or a comic hero (Hulk, The Incredibles, etc.). Just make sure your costume is safe for you and others if you plan on running the event in the costume.
📅 Event Details and Schedule
Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 8AM5K Start: 9AM
Awards: Overall male and female, Masters male and female, 3 deep in standard age groups for male and female, plus an award for the largest group/team registered!
Finish Line Management: Provided by BT Race Timing with results posted to btracetiming.com, active.com, athlinks.com, and rungeorgia.com
Shirts: Guaranteed to those who register by 9/12/24. Registrations after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.
Weather: In case of rain, the races will go on. Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather. The race director or local authorities may cancel the race in case of continued severe weather with no refunds.
